Tab App
A running tab between mates. You shout the coffees, someone else gets the next round, and the app keeps the score so nobody has to remember it.
What it does
Open a tab with someone, add what each of you has put in, and the app tracks who is ahead and by how much. Entries can be amended or cancelled and the tab shows how it got to where it is, so a disagreement is settled by looking rather than arguing. Settle up and the tab goes back to zero.
It starts as an account that lives only on your phone, with no sign-up and no email address. Securing the account with an email and a password is optional, and what it buys you is that your tabs survive a lost phone.
Support
Email tabapp@trinitilabs.com.au with what went wrong and what you were doing when it did. A person reads it and replies. If it is a bug, say which iPhone you are on and which version of the app, which you will find in Settings under About.
Deleting your account
In the app, open Settings, then Account, then Delete account. It removes your account, your tabs and your entries from our server and from every device signed in to it. It cannot be undone.
If your account has never been secured it exists only on your phone, and deleting the app removes it.
Privacy
What the app collects, where it is kept and how to get a copy of it is set out on the Tab App privacy page. The short version is that a device-only account sends us nothing at all, a secured account holds your email address and your tabs, and there is no analytics or tracking software in the app.
Who makes it
Tab App is on the App Store for iPhone, built by Triniti Labs, an Australian software studio. If you want something like it built for your own business, the home page is the place to start and the demos show the kind of work we do.
