This page describes what this website collects, why it collects it, and what to do if you want a copy of your information or want it removed.
Who we are
Triniti Labs is a registered business name of Triniti House Pty Ltd (ABN 30 688 280 882), a software studio working with clients Australia-wide. For anything on this page, write to info@trinitilabs.com.au.
The contact form
The contact form asks for your name, your email address and a message. Business name, project type, budget and timeline are optional.
What you send is emailed to us and read by a person. It is not added to a database, a mailing list or a CRM, and it is not passed to anyone else. The email is delivered by Resend, which handles the sending on our behalf. Your message then lives in our inbox for as long as it is useful to the enquiry. We will only use your details to reply to you.
Analytics
We use Umami, a privacy-focused analytics service. It counts page visits and records which site sent you here, along with rough country-level location and the general type of browser and device. It sets no cookies, it does not follow you to other websites, and it does not build a profile of you. The numbers are aggregate, and Umami processes them on our behalf — it is not an advertising company and does not sell the data. We use them to see which pages and demos are worth keeping.
There are no advertising or remarketing trackers on this site.
Cookies
The site sets one cookie. It is a security token that verifies the contact form was submitted from this website rather than forged by another one. The form can be opened from every page, so the cookie is set on every page. It holds nothing about you, it is not readable by scripts, and it is not used for tracking. That is the only cookie, which is why there is no cookie banner to click through.
Server logs
Our server records the IP address of contact-form submissions. It is used to limit how often the form can be submitted from one place, and a submission caught by the form's spam checks is written to the application log with its IP address so we can tell real enquiries from automated ones. Rate-limiting records are held for fifteen minutes and then discarded.
The demos
The demos run on seeded, made-up data. They are built to be poked at, so nothing you type into one is stored on our servers, and it is cleared when you close the tab. Three of them do reach outside your browser:
- Weather. The city you search for, or your device's location if you allow the browser to share it, is sent to our server, which asks Open-Meteo for a forecast and OpenStreetMap's Nominatim service for place names. Location is never shared without you either searching or granting permission.
- Fuel map. The part of the map you are looking at is sent to our server, which asks a fuel-price service for stations in that area.
- Online shop. Checkout hands you to Stripe, running in test mode. No real payment is taken, and no card details reach us.
The demos that show a map load their map tiles from OpenFreeMap, so your browser makes a request to that service directly.
Getting a copy, a correction, or a deletion
Email info@trinitilabs.com.au and ask. We will tell you what we hold, correct it, or delete it. In practice the only thing we are likely to hold is an email you sent us. If you are not satisfied with how we have handled a request, you can raise it with the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
Changes
If what we collect changes, this page changes with it, and the date at the top moves.
